Habilitated doctor of legal sciences, graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice – doctorate, Faculty of Law at the University of Bialystok – habilitation. Professionally situated in the structures of non-integrated government administration. He specializes in the issues of economic criminal law, criminology and Slovak criminal law. He is the creator of the concept of social crime as a variant of economic crime in Polish criminal law. He is the author of 190 scientific publications in the form of articles, monographs, glosses, participant of international scientific conferences on crime. He conducts classes on subjects: criminal law and law of offenses, legal protection of economic turnover, tax criminal law, legal protection of state social institutions, the system of legal protection bodies, international legal protection bodies, public official – criminal law problems, and basics of criminal proceedings.
