Pedagogy covers all forms of children’s and youth’s education, and also provides information on social aid for those affected by fate, and on care for the elderly. Pedagogical studies shape a wide range of skills and social competencies expected by future employers, necessary for efficient functioning in a free-market economy.

A second-degree graduate has a solid theoretical preparation of an interdisciplinary nature focused on a specific pedagogical specialty. They have the ability to perceive and independently solve theoretical and practical problems within the selected specialty. Each specialty in the field of Pedagogy has a practical character, which means that at least half of the classes are conducted in the form of exercises and workshops. The classes are conducted by practitioners employed in kindergartens, schools, and institutions dealing with care, education, and family assistance. As a result, from the beginning of their studies, the student acquires the skills necessary in their future professional work, is able to combine theory with practice, and also verify the acquired knowledge under conditions natural for a given profession.
