Shorted studies
For whom?
We will credit you with the knowledge and skills you have acquired during your professional work towards your studies. If the subjects planned to be carried out during your studies are directly related to the knowledge, skills, and qualifications you possess, we will credit them to you even before you start learning.
Such a procedure is called “admission to studies by validating learning outcomes”. This is an initiative that meets the needs of the labor market and the needs of working people who have already gained professional experience – they will be able to be admitted to studies taking into account the previously obtained knowledge, skills, and competences, which are exactly the learning outcomes.
The stages of the procedure:
Prepare and submit:
- documents attesting to achieved learning outcomes, e.g., diplomas and certificates of completion of courses, training, post-secondary school, studies, etc., language certificates
- description of the scope of duties issued by the employer
- an application for the validation of learning outcomes
- an application for admission to studies
The university commission appointed by the rector will determine which subjects can be credited through the validation of learning outcomes.
The cost of verifying learning outcomes is 500 PLN + fee for recognized subjects, where 1 ECTS point = 70 PLN
The second stage is the examinations of subjects indicated by the commission. You decide which ones you will take – taking the exams is not mandatory, but it is a chance to reduce the number of subjects that you will implement and pass during your studies.
