The second-cycle study program in vocational and personal counseling includes a broad substantive and methodological knowledge related to the pedagogical, psychological and social aspects of work, professional qualifications, communication, motivation, coaching, and principles of mediation and negotiation. Practical classes, workshops and exercises allow for acquiring the skills and competencies necessary to provide professional services in the field of vocational orientation and counseling, as well as stimulating the professional activity of young people and adults. The aim of the studies is to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to determine vocational predispositions and preferences, to indicate advantages and disadvantages in the context of potential employment, to conduct the process of employee recruitment, and to plan a career.

Graduates of this specialization will be able to conduct a professional analysis of the labor market, indicating opportunities and directions for its development. They will possess the knowledge and skills that allow them to conduct independent activities related to counseling and entrepreneurship development. The graduate can also take up work up to and including upper secondary schools (pedagogical preparation is necessary) or in labor market institutions (employment offices, career information and planning centers, employment agencies and job brokerage) or other private and public institutions dealing with broadly understood professional activation.
