The number of seniors in Poland is increasing every year, and this situation requires taking specific actions and forms of support for older people. Facing the challenges of the modern world, especially in aging societies, geragogy comes forward. Geragogy – because that’s what we’re talking about – is a scientific discipline within pedagogy, which deals with the learning processes of older and aging people. Its main task is to support the education and upbringing of seniors.

Second-degree studies in the specialty of aging pedagogy (geragogy) allow for deepening knowledge related to the essence and course of the aging process, and acquiring new skills and competencies related to the care and support of older people.
