Care and educational pedagogy
The program of the proposed specialty includes general knowledge in the fields of general pedagogy, sociology, law, and psychology, as well as specialized knowledge related to health education, interpersonal communication, crisis intervention, or stimulation of child development. In the curriculum, we attach great importance to the correlation between the transmitted content and the integration of knowledge with practical skills. We teach our students to plan and undertake necessary diagnostic and stimulating actions in the field of comprehensive individual development. Students are prepared to independently identify problems and tasks in the field of education and care, as well as effectively search for ways to solve emerging difficulties.
Graduates acquire the qualifications necessary for employment in the position of an educator in school common rooms and boarding schools. They are prepared to work in diagnostic and consultation centers, adoption and care centers, orphanages, guardian emergency services, educational and care centers, boarding schools, dormitories, community centers, and in non-governmental organizations conducting educational and care activities as well as intervention in crisis situations.
Additionally, after completing postgraduate studies that give pedagogical qualifications, graduates can take up employment in kindergartens, schools, and other educational institutions.
