dr Tomasz Szankin

Doctor of economic sciences in the field of management sciences. He has been associated with the University of Administration in Bielsko-Biała since 2012. As a police officer, he served in the Police Headquarters, where he held managerial positions. He served as the representative of the Police Chief for contacts with trade unions and as the representative of the Police Chief in the Scientific and Technical Council at the Minister of Internal Affairs and in the Convention of the Main School of Fire Service. He served as the National Coordinator of Medical Rescue in the Police. He has been a long-term academic teacher at the Faculty of Management of the Rzeszów University of Technology and the Police School in Szczytno, where he held the position of director of the Institute of Organization and Management. In his scientific activity and teaching work, he deals with, among others, issues of organization management in public administration, including the system of administering security and public order, human resources management in uniformed services, quality management, and integrated management systems in offices. He is the author of many scientific publications and research and development works in the field of management and internal security.
